Recent drone sightings across the northeastern United States have ignited bipartisan frustration with the government's response, particularly in New Jersey. State Assemblyman Paul Kanitra expressed his disbelief at the official handling of the situation during an appearance on "Fox News @ Night." He described a shared sense of anger among state legislators from both sides of the aisle during a recent briefing at the state's security building.
The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the initial drone sighting occurred in New Jersey on November 18th, leading to temporary flight restrictions. However, Kanitra revealed that subsequent briefings confirmed nightly drone activity since the first incident. He characterized the situation as "infuriating" in a Facebook post, urging the Department of Homeland Security to take decisive action.

Photographs taken in Toms River, New Jersey, appear to depict large drones flying above the FAA's 400-foot altitude limit. While the White House has stated that preliminary investigations haven't uncovered malicious intent or a national security threat, Kanitra expressed skepticism, particularly if the drones are linked to foreign adversaries. He questioned the government's cautious wording given the duration of the ongoing activity.

Kanitra himself captured an image of what appears to be multiple drones in the New Jersey sky. He emphasized that these are not recreational drones and asserted that the military possesses the technology to obtain clearer images. The ongoing drone activity and the government's response continue to raise concerns and fuel demands for greater transparency.
