Amidst growing scrutiny, President Biden has firmly refuted any involvement in his son Hunter Biden's business activities in China. The President's denial comes in response to recent reports and text messages suggesting his presence during Hunter's negotiations with a Chinese business associate.
When questioned by a reporter about the veracity of these reports and his role in the alleged "shakedown text messages," President Biden vehemently denied any participation. The reporter specifically inquired whether the President was present during these interactions, to which Biden responded with a resounding "No!"

The controversy stems from a text message purportedly sent by Hunter Biden to Harvest Fund Management CEO Henry Zhao. In the message, Hunter allegedly claimed to be with his father while pressing Zhao to honor a commitment. He further warned of repercussions if the matter wasn't resolved promptly.

This incident follows previous reports of a voicemail from President Biden to Hunter, allegedly discussing his son's international business affairs. In the 2018 voicemail, the President reportedly mentioned an article about Hunter's dealings, expressing his belief that Hunter was "clear" of any wrongdoing.

These developments coincide with Hunter Biden's recent plea deal with the Justice Department, where he agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and enter a pretrial diversion agreement regarding a firearm possession charge. This agreement is anticipated to prevent him from serving prison time.
