A 23-year-old woman in Busan, South Korea, has been indicted for murder after confessing to killing her tutor, allegedly fueled by an obsession with true crime. Jung Yoo-jung reportedly contacted the victim, a university student and tutor, through an online platform under the guise of needing English lessons for her child.

According to reports, Jung purchased a school uniform as a disguise before allegedly stabbing the tutor to death and dismembering the body. Surveillance footage reportedly captured Jung transporting a suitcase believed to contain body parts. She allegedly disposed of some remains near the Nakdong River, while other body parts were later discovered at her residence.
Local reports suggest Jung used a taxi to dispose of the victim's remains.
Police indicated Jung’s motive stemmed from a fascination with murder depicted in television shows and books. She reportedly expressed remorse for her actions. Authorities are investigating her mental state. The case has raised concerns due to Jung's apparent calmness following the alleged crime.
