New Sexual Assault Lawsuit Adds to Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Legal Troubles

Created: JANUARY 26, 2025

Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing yet another legal challenge with a new $15 million sexual assault lawsuit. LaTroya Grayson, an Oklahoma resident, alleges that Combs assaulted her in 2006 when she was 23. According to the complaint filed on Friday, Grayson received an invitation to a party hosted by Combs, referred to as a "black party." She claims to have consumed two pre-made drinks at the event and subsequently woke up in a hospital the following morning with no memory of the intervening time. Grayson stated that her clothing was torn, her underwear was missing, she had no shoes, and the money she had brought with her was gone.

Upon returning to Oklahoma, Grayson claims she received a threatening phone call from an anonymous woman warning her against pursuing any legal action due to Combs' celebrity status. Grayson's filing includes hotel and flight receipts corroborating her travel to New York City for the party.

A representative for Combs has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them "pure fiction" and emphasizing that Grayson has no memory of the alleged events and has never interacted with Combs. The representative reiterated Combs' faith in the judicial process and his confidence that the truth will prevail against what they perceive as an opportunistic fabrication.

This new lawsuit comes amidst other legal battles for Combs, including a separate case where he and another celebrity, identified as Jay-Z in an amended complaint, are accused of raping a 13-year-old girl. This amended complaint alleges that the girl, after consuming a drink, sought rest in a bedroom where she was allegedly followed by Jay-Z, Diddy, and another unnamed female celebrity. The lawsuit claims Jay-Z initiated the assault, followed by Combs, while the other celebrity observed. Jay-Z has publicly denied these allegations, urging the accuser to pursue criminal charges rather than a civil suit. Combs has also denied these accusations.

Combs is currently incarcerated at MC Brooklyn awaiting a federal trial related to sex trafficking allegations. The indictment alleges that Combs utilized his various businesses, including Bad Boy Entertainment, to conduct a criminal enterprise involving firearms, threats, coercion, and various forms of abuse to satisfy his sexual desires.
