A private jet registered to a company linked to Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil was involved in a fatal accident at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred when the Learjet 35A's landing gear malfunctioned upon landing, causing it to veer off the runway and collide with a stationary Gulfstream 200 business jet.

The aftermath of the crash saw one fatality and three injuries. Emergency responders worked diligently to extract a trapped individual from the wreckage, who was then transported to a trauma center in critical condition. Neil's legal representative confirmed that the musician was not onboard the aircraft at the time of the accident. In a statement, Neil expressed his condolences and gratitude to the first responders.

The airport temporarily closed its runway following the collision but reopened later that evening.
