Legendary actor Harrison Ford, now 80, is bidding adieu to his iconic role as Indiana Jones. With the release of "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny," the final film in the franchise, Ford reflected on his connection to the character and the series' global appeal in a recent interview.

At the 2023 Cannes Film Festival premiere of "Dial of Destiny," Ford, accompanied by his wife Calista Flockhart, received a five-minute standing ovation. He was also surprised with a Palme d’Or, the festival's highest honor, a moment he described as having his life flash before his eyes. He graciously acknowledged his wife's unwavering support for his passions and dreams.

Despite approaching his 81st birthday, Ford shows no signs of slowing down. He's set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross in "Captain America: New World Order" and continues to star in the popular series "1923" and "Shrinking," both renewed for second seasons.

"Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" premieres in theaters on June 30th.
