Trump Suggests Biden Family Connection to White House Cocaine Discovery

Created: JANUARY 27, 2025

Following the discovery of cocaine in the White House over the weekend, former President Donald Trump publicly questioned whether the substance belonged to either President Joe Biden or his son, Hunter. In a post on Truth Social, Trump speculated, "Does anyone really think the cocaine found in the West Wing, close to the Oval Office, belongs to anyone other than Hunter & Joe Biden?"

Trump also predicted that the media would attempt to downplay the incident, suggesting they might claim the substance was a small amount or even something other than cocaine. He further criticized Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is currently investigating Trump, with a personal attack.

Trump has repeatedly targeted Smith, previously labeling him a "sick puppet" of Attorney General Merrick Garland and President Biden. He also demanded access to White House security footage, similar to footage he claims he provided to Smith, to determine the source of the cocaine.

Fox News contacted both the White House and the Department of Justice for comment on Trump's statements, but neither responded immediately. The Secret Service discovered the cocaine in a highly trafficked area of the West Wing used by guests and staff, prompting a brief evacuation. Both President Biden and Hunter Biden were at Camp David at the time.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre acknowledged the discovery, emphasizing the area's high traffic volume and stating she had no further details to share. She confirmed that the Secret Service is investigating and that the White House is confident they will determine what occurred. Jean-Pierre also conveyed President Biden's commitment to getting to the bottom of the situation.
