Trump and Musk to Discuss Media's Portrayal of Rivalry in Exclusive Hannity Interview

Former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk are set to discuss how traditional media outlets have depicted their relationship in an exclusive interview with Sean Hannity. The interview, scheduled to air on Tuesday, February 18th at 9 p.m. ET on Fox News, will also cover the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Trump's initial 100 days in office, and other prominent news topics. This marks the first joint television appearance for Trump and Musk.

Sean Hannity, a Fox News veteran since 1996, holds the record as the longest-running primetime cable news host. His show consistently attracts a large viewership, averaging 3.6 million viewers year-to-date, often ranking among the top cable programs. Over his three decades with Fox News, Hannity has interviewed countless influential figures in news and politics.

Recently, Hannity expanded his work to include a new Fox Nation series titled "Sean," featuring in-depth interviews. His inaugural episode showcased a conversation with Sylvester Stallone and his wife, Jennifer Flavin Stallone. Hannity also hosted the fifth annual Fox Nation "Patriot Awards," which recognizes individuals for their patriotism and contributions to society.

Fox News Channel, a 24-hour news service, has maintained its position as the leading network in basic cable for the past nine years and the most-watched television news channel for 23 consecutive years. Nielsen Media Research indicates that nearly 70% of cable news viewers choose FNC. In 2024, Fox News Channel outperformed its competitors, achieving its largest share of the cable news audience since 2015, with an average of 1.5 million total daily viewers and 2.4 million primetime viewers, securing the top spot in both categories for nine years running.
