The disappearance of Texas realtor Suzanne Simpson took a grim turn as her husband, Brad Simpson, was formally charged with her murder. The case, unfolding over several weeks, has gripped the San Antonio area, revealing a complex narrative of alleged domestic violence, conflicting accounts, and digital forensics.
Suzanne, a 51-year-old mother of four, vanished on October 6th following a reported altercation with her husband outside their Olmos Park home. Authorities believe Brad "intentionally and knowingly caused Suzanne's death" around that date, leading to his arrest and subsequent murder charge on November 7th.

Brad's behavior following Suzanne's disappearance raised red flags for investigators. He reportedly displayed a lack of concern and offered inconsistent narratives about when he last saw his wife. Initially claiming he hadn't heard from her since October 6th at 11 p.m., he later stated he saw her sleeping the following morning. Adding to the suspicion, Brad's cellphone records revealed a series of intentional shutdowns, described by the FBI as "Lock Down" mode – a tactic used to evade detection.

Further evidence emerged from a neighbor who witnessed the couple's heated argument and physical struggle on the night of Suzanne's disappearance. The neighbor reported hearing screams from a nearby wooded area and observing Brad's truck leaving and returning approximately an hour later. The couple's 5-year-old child also disclosed to a school counselor that her father had physically assaulted her mother that evening and deactivated her phone.

Digital evidence further solidified the timeline, with Suzanne's "Find My iPhone" app last placing her at home at 10:22 p.m. on October 6th. Authorities have found no indication that Suzanne has been alive since the alleged assault, corroborated by cellphone and financial records, as well as testimonies from family, friends, and colleagues.
