A 19-year-old man from Minnesota found himself in trouble with the law after an unusual incident at a Mankato restaurant on June 23rd. Tristan Stetina allegedly entered the establishment and began shouting, proceeding to throw Skittles at both staff and patrons.
According to official reports, one individual reported being struck in the back by a Skittle, experiencing a stinging sensation. Police arriving at the scene noted Skittles scattered across the floor and a discarded bag of the candy near a trash receptacle.

The situation escalated when officers attempted to apprehend Stetina. He allegedly resisted arrest by wrapping his leg around an officer in an attempt to trip him and struggling to break free. It ultimately required three officers to subdue and detain him.
Stetina now faces several charges, including obstructing the legal process, fifth-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and fifth-degree possession of a schedule 1, 2, 3, or 4 drug (a non-trivial amount of marijuana).
