The "Rocky" star's daughter, Ida, hinted at the nuptials through social media posts showcasing the couple wearing wedding rings and dressed in white. Videos shared by Ida captured moments of celebration, including a party by an infinity pool, fireworks, and Lundgren playing bongo drums.

Lundgren's Instagram post from July 12 hinted at the upcoming event with a picture of him and Krokdal embracing in a pool, captioned "Tomorrow is the day. Mykonos." Lundgren, who was previously married to Anette Qviberg, proposed to Krokdal in June 2020. He had expressed his intentions to marry Krokdal earlier, but plans were delayed due to the pandemic and professional commitments.

Lundgren also opened up about his eight-year battle with cancer, revealing that he was diagnosed with a kidney tumor in 2015. After multiple treatments and a second opinion, the tumors shrunk significantly, allowing for surgical removal of scar tissue. Krokdal provided unwavering support throughout his health journey.
