A Kentucky man who allegedly evaded child support payments for over a decade was apprehended as he disembarked from a cruise ship in Miami. Dominic Weaver's vacation came to an abrupt end when authorities took him into custody and returned him to Louisville, according to WDRB-TV.

Jefferson County Attorney Mike O'Connell stated that Weaver hasn't contributed a single penny towards his child support obligations since his sentencing. Detectives from the local child support division traveled to Miami to ensure Weaver's return to Kentucky.

The 47-year-old Weaver owes an estimated $114,000 to $120,000 in back child support. O'Connell revealed that Weaver has four active cases with the child support division, with two more potentially leading to further felony indictments. The County Attorney plans to request the judge revoke Weaver's initial sentence and impose a four-year prison term.
