Singer Billie Eilish experienced an unwelcome interruption during her "Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour" stop in Glendale, Arizona on Friday. While performing "What Was I Made For?" at the Desert Diamond Arena, the 22-year-old artist was hit in the face by a fan-thrown object, believed to be a homemade necklace.

Video footage circulating on social media captured the moment of impact, showing Eilish's visible disappointment and the audience's disapproval of the fan's actions. After a brief pause, Eilish resumed her performance, discarding the necklace.

This incident adds to a growing list of similar occurrences where artists have been targeted by objects thrown by fans. Kelsea Ballerini, Harry Styles, and Bebe Rexha, who suffered a serious injury from a thrown phone, are among those who have experienced this concerning trend.

Eilish previously addressed this issue in a 2023 interview, expressing her frustration while acknowledging the complex emotions involved. She noted that while such actions are "infuriating," they often stem from a place of excitement and misplaced affection.

Eilish's tour continues with a scheduled performance at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, a venue where Harry Styles also experienced a similar incident in 2022.
