The National Football League (NFL) and USAA have revealed the three finalists for the prestigious 2024 Salute to Service Award: Aaron Jones, George Kittle, and Morgan Fox. This award, established in 2012, acknowledges the significant contributions of NFL players to the military and veteran community.
Retired Maj. Gen. John Richardson, USAA's Senior Vice President and Head of Military Affairs, praised the finalists for their unwavering dedication to supporting military personnel and their families. He highlighted their commitment to using their platforms to improve the lives of service members and their families.

Aaron Jones, whose parents both served extensive careers in the Army, has deep roots in the military. His brother also serves in the Air Force. Jones, along with his twin brother, founded the A&A All the Way Foundation in 2020 to assist children from military families.
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle consistently welcomes military members to 49ers home games. He and his family developed a mobile application offering complimentary mental health resources for veterans. Kittle's contributions extend to over $250,000 in donations to military non-profit organizations and promoting these organizations through the My Cause My Cleats initiative.

Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Morgan Fox, also raised in a military environment, has donated tickets to veterans and hosted members of the Wounded Warrior Project at team practices.
Last year's Salute to Service Award recipient was Joe Cardona, the New England Patriots long snapper and Navy alumnus.

The winner of the 2024 Salute to Service Award will be revealed during the NFL Honors ceremony on February 6th, alongside the announcements of other major awards such as MVP, Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, Rookies of the Year, and Coach of the Year.
