A twin-engine Piper PA-31 aircraft crashed onto a bustling intersection in Victoria, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon, splitting into two pieces and impacting three vehicles. The incident occurred around 3 p.m., according to the Victoria Police Department. The plane, confirmed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to be carrying only the pilot, had departed from Victoria Regional Airport around 9:52 a.m. and had been airborne for approximately five hours before the crash.
