A harrowing incident at a Mexican amusement park has left a six-year-old boy traumatized and his family pursuing legal action. The child, Cesar, plunged into a water feature below a zipline after his harness malfunctioned at Parque Fundidora's Amazonian Expedition in Nuevo León, Mexico.
The family recounted the terrifying Sunday event on Facebook, stating the boy fell approximately 40 feet into the artificial pool after the harness gave way. A video circulating online captures the moment the child comes to a halt on the zipline before the harness breaks, sending him plummeting downwards.

The family credits a quick-thinking tourist with rescuing Cesar from the water. They criticize the park staff's inadequate training and response to the emergency. While Cesar sustained only minor physical injuries, his family reports he is psychologically shaken and fearful following the ordeal.

The family intends to sue both the park and the individual operator of the zipline attraction. Following the incident, several attractions within the park were temporarily closed by a Nuevo León government agency, and an official investigation is now underway.
