A second man involved in the downtown Cleveland shooting that injured nine has been ordered held on a $5 million bail. Kevin Del Valle-Salaman, 24, appeared in court via video conference Monday, remaining silent throughout the proceedings. Prosecutors revealed a third individual was present with Del Valle-Salaman and the alleged shooter, Jaylon Jennings, 25, at the time of the incident.
Authorities believe Del Valle-Salaman drove Jennings and the unidentified third man from Lorain to Cleveland's Warehouse District before the July 9th shooting and then drove them away from the scene. While Del Valle-Salaman and the third person remained in the vehicle, Jennings allegedly exited and opened fire.

Del Valle-Salaman, arrested on Saturday, is facing nine counts of complicity to commit murder. Jennings, apprehended on July 11th, is charged with nine counts of attempted murder and various weapons offenses. He's currently held on a $9 million bond. The role of the third individual and whether they will be charged remains unclear.
Police Chief Wayne Drummond stated Jennings fired upon a group outside a bar just before closing time. The victims, seven men and two women aged 23 to 38, sustained injuries, with one man seriously hurt, but all are expected to survive. Court documents suggest Jennings saw individuals inside a bar, retrieved a gun from the trunk of Del Valle-Salaman's car parked across the street, and then shot into the crowd, even with police officers nearby. The motive is still being investigated.
