A Russian national and U.S. legal resident, Svetlana Dali, 57, has been taken into FBI custody at JFK International Airport following an incident involving a Delta Air Lines flight to Paris. Dali initially gained notoriety for allegedly boarding Delta Flight 264 to Paris on November 26th without a boarding pass or valid travel documents for France. She reportedly bypassed TSA security checkpoints and identity verification stations before boarding the aircraft. During the flight, a flight attendant discovered Dali after she spent an extended period in the plane's bathroom.

Upon the flight's return to New York, reports from French officials indicate that Dali caused further disruption. The FBI has now taken her into custody, and the incident is under investigation by federal authorities. Delta Air Lines has stated that they are conducting a thorough investigation into the events and will cooperate with other aviation stakeholders and law enforcement. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York has been contacted for further details.
