Chad Doerman, 32, now faces a multitude of charges, including aggravated murder, kidnapping, and assault, following the tragic deaths of his three young sons. Prosecutors in Clermont County, Ohio, unveiled the additional charges after initially arresting Doerman on three counts of aggravated murder. The boys' mother was also injured in the incident.
During Doerman's arraignment, Clermont County prosecutor David Gast described the heinous nature of the crime, stating that Doerman "executed them in cold blood." This chilling statement underscores the gravity of the situation, where the children's protector became their killer.

Bodycam footage reveals a disturbing contrast between Doerman's calm demeanor during his arrest and the frantic 911 calls made by witnesses. Despite having bloodstains on his clothing, Doerman assures officers he won't hurt anyone. This contradicts the terrified account of a teenage girl who fled the scene, reporting to a 911 caller that her stepfather was "killing everybody" in her family.

According to a 21-count indictment, Doerman used a .22 rifle to kill his sons, aged 3, 4, and 7. Prosecutors allege he shot two of the children and then pursued the third, who had attempted to escape, before dragging him back to the property and fatally shooting him.

Law enforcement officials took Doerman into custody without further incident, despite his initial non-compliance with commands. The bodycam video shows officers providing aid to the victims after securing Doerman. Prosecutor Mark Tekulve expressed the profound impact of this crime, calling it one of the most horrific he's encountered.
Doerman is currently held on a $20 million bond and is scheduled for a court appearance on June 26th.
