MLB to Open 2024 Season in South Korea, with Games Also Planned for Mexico City and London

Major League Baseball is going global in 2024! The league announced its international game schedule for the upcoming season, featuring matchups in Seoul, Mexico City, and London.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres will make history by playing the first-ever MLB regular season games in South Korea, kicking off the 2024 season in Seoul on March 20-21.

South of the border, the Houston Astros and Colorado Rockies will face off in Mexico City on April 27-28. This follows the successful Padres-Giants series held in Mexico City earlier this year.

Across the pond, the previously announced series between the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies will take place in London on June 8-9.

In addition to these regular season games, MLB announced spring training games between the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, scheduled for March 9-10.

This marks the ninth time MLB has opened its season internationally, with previous locations including Monterrey, Mexico; Tokyo, Japan; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Sydney, Australia.
