The New York Knicks are having a solid 2024-25 season so far, boasting a 28-18 record after a recent win against the Atlanta Hawks. With All-Star Jalen Brunson leading the charge, averaging 26.2 points and 7.4 assists, the team is showing real potential. However, one outspoken Knicks fan, Michael Rapaport, has a rather unconventional suggestion for bolstering their roster.
Following the 2025 presidential inauguration, Rapaport took to social media to propose a 10-day contract for none other than Barron Trump. Impressed by Trump's height and presence at the inauguration, Rapaport jokingly suggested the Knicks could use another big man, especially with Mitchell Robinson's ongoing absence due to an ankle injury.

Rapaport's comments were lighthearted, but they highlight the Knicks' need for depth in the frontcourt. While Robinson is expected to return in February, his injury has left a gap.

Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Trump, recently graduated from Oxbridge Academy and is currently attending New York University. He also recently cast his first vote in the 2024 election. While his father previously expressed concerns about the dangers of football, there's no public information about Barron's interest or involvement in basketball.

The Knicks are looking to build on their successful 2023-24 season, where they won 50 games before being eliminated in the Eastern Conference semifinals by the Indiana Pacers. Whether or not they take Rapaport's suggestion seriously remains to be seen.
