Rubin highlighted Harris's tireless work ethic and passion for the team, emphasizing his belief that Harris will quickly deliver positive results. He also expressed optimism about the community rallying behind the new ownership.

Harris's acquisition of the Commanders is pending approval from NFL owners, with a vote scheduled for July 20th. The deal, valued at $6.05 billion, would be the largest purchase price for an NFL team in history.

Rubin's confidence stems from his experience working alongside Harris with the 76ers. Harris has asserted that the Commanders' fan base has become disengaged under previous ownership and aims to reignite their enthusiasm.

A prospectus issued by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment to potential investors outlined a strategy to boost attendance, ticket sales, and sponsorships. The group also suggested the possibility of securing public funding for a new stadium in Virginia.

The document projected a significant increase in local revenue for the Commanders, potentially doubling by the 2031-2032 season. With a new stadium, revenue could reach $466 million per season.

While Harris pursues ownership of the Commanders, Rubin has divested his stake in the 76ers and Devils due to Fanatics' expansion into sports betting.

Rubin's Merch Madness event, held in nearly 100 locations across the US, provided underserved children and families with licensed merchandise. Numerous celebrities participated in the giveaway, including Lil’ Baby, Meek Mill, Russell Wilson, and Eli Manning in Harlem, as well as Tom Brady, Odell Beckham Jr., and DJ Khaled in Miami.
