Amidst the recent Los Angeles wildfires, Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson showed support for his former partner, Anjelica Huston. Huston revealed in a recent interview with The Guardian that Nicholson contacted her while she was evacuating her home with her pets and housekeeper. He inquired about her safety and whether she had found suitable accommodations. Huston expressed gratitude for his concern, emphasizing that he is always there for her in times of crisis.

Although Huston's residence narrowly escaped the flames, she faced temporary loss of essential utilities. She sought refuge at her ranch, which provides sanctuary for numerous animals. The incident underscores the precarious situation faced by many residents during the wildfires. Huston and Nicholson's complex relationship spanned 17 years, marked by both collaborations on film projects like "Prizzi's Honor" and personal challenges. Their romance ultimately concluded in 1990 due to Nicholson's infidelity and the birth of a child with another woman.

Reflecting on their time together, Huston acknowledged her affection for Nicholson while also acknowledging the realities of their dynamic. She emphasized her resilience and self-reliance throughout the relationship. Huston later married sculptor Robert Graham, a union that lasted until his passing in 2008. Nicholson, meanwhile, has several children from various relationships. The actor recently made a rare public appearance at the "Saturday Night Live" 50th anniversary special, accompanied by his daughter Lorraine. He introduced comedian Adam Sandler, a former co-star, to the stage.
