FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and President & Executive Editor Jay Wallace recently recognized exceptional employees during the 2024 FOX News Media Spotlight Awards. The awards, an annual tradition, celebrate staff members who have made significant contributions across FOX News Media platforms. This year, the company received hundreds of nominations, showcasing the dedication and talent within the organization.

The Unsung Hero Award, recognizing those whose crucial work often goes unnoticed, was presented to three individuals: Director of Technical Operations Latoya Lewis, known for her command in the control room and commitment to mentoring; Director of Technical Operations Alex Mitchner, praised for empowering colleagues and embracing new technologies; and Broadcast Engineering Supervisor Jason Oster, a problem-solving expert and the longest-serving awardee, having joined Fox News in 1999.

Four rising stars were also honored: Broadcast Production Engineer Frank Andriola, recognized for his technical expertise and willingness to share knowledge; "America’s Newsroom" Booker Giuliana Fogliano, who rapidly advanced from guest greeter to political field reporter and booker; Associate Producer Meghan Tome, known for her ability to manage multiple reporters and live shots; and Human Resources Coordinator Jordan Wells, commended for her proactive support and helpfulness.

The Community Service Award recognized three employees dedicated to their local communities: Senior Manager of Engineering Richard Hernandez, who organizes an annual toy drive for children in Mexican orphanages; "Varney and Co." Senior Producer Robert McNally, an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and Honor Guard; and "Jesse Watters Primetime" Producer and Supervising Writer Scott Sanders, a cancer survivor who raises funds for cancer patients through marathon running.

Human Resources Senior Vice President Nicolle Campa received the Culture and Belonging Ambassador of the Year Award for fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment. Fox Weather Senior Producer and Meteorologist Jordan Overton was named Innovator of the Year for developing a new system to streamline FOX Weather's workflow.

The Impact Award, recognizing significant positive contributions, was presented to the Jerusalem Bureau and the Field and Production Operations teams. The Jerusalem Bureau, a team of six dedicated journalists, was honored for their unwavering coverage of the ongoing conflict in Israel, often under dangerous conditions. The Field and Production Operations team was celebrated for their expertise in transforming any location into a broadcast-ready set, ensuring the success of major events such as debates, town halls, and the Patriot Awards.
