Aviva Siegel, released after 51 days as a Hamas captive, continues her tireless campaign for the freedom of her husband, Keith, who remains in Hamas custody over 450 days after their capture on October 7, 2023.
In a recent interview, Siegel made a direct appeal to President-elect Donald Trump, urging him to prioritize the hostages' release as he takes office. She expressed her belief in Trump's ability to bring them home, emphasizing the urgency and dire situation they face.

Siegel vividly described her husband as a kind and loving man, deeply proud of his American identity, and enduring unbearable suffering in captivity. She highlighted the agonizing wait for his family and grandchildren, who long for his return.
She recounted her own harrowing experiences, emphasizing the inhumane conditions the hostages face, including the constant threat of violence, starvation, and confinement in suffocating underground spaces. Siegel stressed the urgency of their release, stating that no one should endure such treatment.

With at least seven Americans among the remaining hostages, their fate hangs in the balance. Trump has issued a strong warning to Hamas, demanding their release before his inauguration and promising severe consequences if they fail to comply.
Siegel's plea underscores the human cost of the ongoing conflict and the desperate hope for the safe return of all those held captive.
