Following an altercation at a Maryland restaurant early Thursday morning, a shooting incident left five individuals injured, according to police reports. Montgomery County police officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire at the Sole D’Italia restaurant shortly after midnight.
Three women and two men sustained injuries in the incident. One individual suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while three others experienced less significant gunshot wounds. Another individual received minor injuries, possibly from shrapnel, according to police spokesperson Shiera Goff.
Investigators believe the argument began inside the restaurant and escalated into the parking lot where the shooting occurred. Authorities are currently working to identify all those involved.
