Actor Chris Pratt recently shared a heartfelt update on how the devastating Los Angeles wildfires have affected his family and community. While expressing gratitude that his own home survived, Pratt revealed the widespread destruction, including the loss of his son's school and his ex-wife Anna Faris's home.
Pratt described the situation as "truly devastating," emphasizing the impact on the community. He noted the "silver lining" of his own home being spared, but acknowledged the immense loss suffered by many others in the area. He specifically mentioned the destruction of his son's school and Faris's residence.
In an Instagram post, Pratt expressed his faith and resilience, stating, "It’s just wild and we’re resilient … we trust in God and consider it all a blessing." He also offered prayers for Los Angeles and those affected, emphasizing the importance of community support during this difficult time.
The Hughes Fire, which erupted in Castaic, has added to the devastation, forcing thousands of residents to evacuate. Firefighters continue to battle the blazes, including the Palisades and Eaton fires, which have caused significant damage and loss of life since January 7.
A representative for Faris confirmed her safety after the fires initially broke out, expressing gratitude for her well-being. Pratt and Faris share a 12-year-old son, Jack. Pratt is currently married to Katherine Schwarzenegger, and they have three children together.
