Football fans and food enthusiasts, get ready! Tyson Foods has teamed up with the Dallas Cowboys to launch chicken nuggets shaped like the team's iconic star. These unique nuggets debuted at AT&T Stadium during the Thanksgiving game against the New York Giants.
This isn't Tyson's first foray into team-inspired nuggets. They previously created Razorback-shaped nuggets for the University of Arkansas. However, this marks the first time an NFL team has received this special treatment.

The collaboration stems from a long-standing relationship between the Jones family and Tyson Foods. Jerry Jones, the Cowboys' owner, grew up in Arkansas and shared a close friendship with the late Don Tyson, a former president and CEO of Tyson Foods.
While initially available exclusively at AT&T Stadium, fans can now purchase these star-shaped nuggets at grocery stores throughout the Dallas area. Tyson acknowledges there are currently limitations on distribution, but hints at broader availability in the future.

Although Tyson is renowned for its dinosaur-shaped nuggets aimed at children, these Cowboys nuggets cater to a wider audience. Tyson recognizes a growing trend of adults enjoying chicken nuggets and aims to provide diverse ways to savor this popular food.
The star shape not only adds visual appeal but also enhances the texture. According to Tyson, the edges of the stars offer an extra crispy crunch compared to the traditional dinosaur nuggets.

In a heartwarming gesture, Tyson has pledged to donate $1 to the Salvation Army for every purchase of the Cowboys nuggets, up to $100,000. This initiative reflects the company's commitment to giving back to the community.
While Cowboys fans are currently the lucky beneficiaries of this unique partnership, there are hints that other NFL teams might soon have their own signature nuggets. Tyson has confirmed ongoing discussions, suggesting the possibility of expanding this exciting venture to other franchises.
