Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre publicly questioned President Biden's choices for the Presidential Medal of Freedom, awarded on Saturday. The ceremony, held at the White House, honored several individuals, including Hillary Clinton, George Soros, and soccer star Lionel Messi.

Favre expressed his bewilderment on social media platform X, stating, "What words would you use to describe the White House medals that were given out because I’m honestly speechless." The former Green Bay Packers quarterback has been a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and has previously criticized Biden.
The inclusion of Clinton and Soros among the recipients drew criticism from some. Clinton's past actions, including her handling of the Benghazi incident and the controversy surrounding her private email server, were cited as reasons for concern. Soros, a prominent Democratic donor, faced criticism for his financial support of progressive district attorneys whose policies have been linked to rising crime rates in certain cities.

While soccer legend Lionel Messi was also a recipient, he did not attend the ceremony due to a scheduling conflict.
