Nineteen-year-old Devon Michael Gandy is wanted in connection with the shooting death of 18-year-old Katherine Maline Castillo-Martinez. The incident occurred Saturday night at the Nebo Ridge Estates mobile home community in Hiram, Georgia. Paulding County Sheriff’s deputies responded to multiple 911 calls and found Castillo-Martinez suffering from gunshot wounds. She was transported to a hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.

Investigators believe an earlier dispute among several individuals at the mobile home park precipitated the shooting. Gandy is currently being pursued by both the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service. Authorities consider him armed and dangerous and advise the public against approaching him.

The Sheriff's office clarified that Gandy has an identical twin brother who is not implicated in the crime. Additional charges are anticipated as the investigation progresses.
