Amidst heightened security measures, the funeral service for Brian Thompson, the late CEO of UnitedHealthcare, took place on Monday at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Thompson was tragically killed in a targeted shooting in New York City the previous week.
A substantial security presence was observed at the church, including over a dozen state troopers, approximately 100 vehicles (among them two dozen black SUVs), a surveillance drone, and a sniper positioned on the church roof. Access to the funeral was strictly limited to invited guests, with reports indicating a security code was required for entry.
