The first shooting unfolded around 9:59 p.m. in Kensington. An 18-year-old male sustained two gunshot wounds to the abdomen at a party estimated to have between 50 and 100 underage attendees. He was transported to Temple University Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. Authorities are still searching for the shooter(s) and no weapons have been recovered. Airbnb is investigating the incident and has removed the listing pending the outcome.

The second incident took place around 11:50 p.m. in Brewerytown. Approximately 30 to 40 young people were present at a house reportedly rented through Airbnb for a party. Upon police arrival, a crowd was seen fleeing the property. A 13-year-old girl was discovered outside with a gunshot wound to her right buttock and an 18-year-old male was shot in the leg. Both were hospitalized in stable condition. No arrests have been made and no weapons were found at the scene. Airbnb confirmed they are investigating and have removed the guest and listing from their platform.

Airbnb issued a statement condemning the violence and expressing hopes for the victims' recovery. They reiterated their ban on parties and highlighted their ongoing efforts to prevent unauthorized gatherings through reservation screening and a neighborhood support line. Neighbors expressed frustration over the recurring issue of loud parties at Airbnb rentals, disrupting the peace and raising safety concerns. One neighbor reported this was the fourth consecutive night of disturbances.
