Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to be pursuing individual career paths. Following their public revelations about royal life, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly concentrating on establishing independent roles.
Meghan is preparing to launch her Netflix lifestyle series and brand, embracing what some call her "influencer era." She recently collaborated with Billie Eilish to surprise a teenage fan who lost her home in the Los Angeles wildfires. Meanwhile, Harry remains committed to the Invictus Games, starting February 8th in Vancouver.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams commented on their independent ventures, stating, "There's no reason they shouldn't work separately, although they will still make joint appearances. However, their aggressive monetization of their royal rift has eroded trust among many Americans, particularly with recent bullying allegations."

Since their 2020 departure from royal duties and relocation to California, Harry's relationship with the royal family has been strained. The couple cited media intrusion and racist attitudes as reasons for their move. Their subsequent interview with Oprah Winfrey, Netflix docuseries, and Harry's memoir, "Spare," further exposed their grievances.

British broadcaster Helena Chard believes their separate professional paths are a positive step, suggesting Harry appears more at ease working independently. Chard feels Meghan's pursuit of the spotlight hasn't resonated positively with the public.

Meghan's efforts to reshape her image include a relaunched Instagram account, where she promotes her Netflix show and shares acts of kindness, like securing signed Billie Eilish merchandise for the wildfire victim. However, the gesture drew mixed reactions, with some perceiving it as inauthentic.

Reports indicate Harry will focus on philanthropic work while Meghan pursues entrepreneurial ventures. They will reportedly continue joint initiatives through their Archwell Foundation, including The Parents Network. Despite these separate paths, Chard advises the couple to learn from past mistakes to improve their public image.
