Actress Kristin Davis recently revealed a surprising motivation behind her brief 2001 romance with Alec Baldwin: his luxurious Hamptons estate. During an appearance on Rob Lowe's podcast, "Literally! With Rob Lowe," Davis confessed her infatuation with Baldwin's Amagansett residence played a significant role in her reluctance to end the relationship.
Davis candidly shared, "Alec Baldwin was incredibly wealthy when we dated. Honestly, one of the biggest perks was his stunning house in Amagansett." She even confided in her "Sex and the City" co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, admitting her hesitation stemmed from her attachment to the property. "I told Sarah Jessica, 'I'm not sure things will work out with Alec, but I adore his house!' It's embarrassing to admit, but it's true."

The Hamptons mansion, boasting 10,000 square feet, seven bedrooms, and nine bathrooms, was listed for sale shortly after the tragic "Rust" shooting incident. Baldwin significantly reduced the asking price by $10 million in early 2024, ultimately seeking just under $19 million. He even appeared in a promotional video for the property, reminiscing about his long-standing connection to the East End of Long Island.

The conversation about Baldwin arose after Lowe attempted to uncover the identity of an actor to whom Davis had loaned $5,000, only to be subsequently ghosted. Davis had previously shared this anecdote on her own podcast, "Are You a Charlotte?" She quickly clarified that Baldwin was not the actor in question, stating, "I would never have needed to lend Alec $5,000!" Expressing regret over sharing the story, Davis described the unnamed actor as an out-of-work actor at the time, not a con artist. She offered a few hints about his identity, mentioning his eventual rise to fame, current marital status, and attractiveness.
