Cincinnati icons Graeter's Ice Cream and Skyline Chili have joined forces to create a truly unique frozen treat: Skyline Spice ice cream. This unexpected flavor combines Graeter's signature French Pot ice cream with Skyline's iconic chili spice mix and oyster crackers.
Richard Graeter, CEO of Graeter's, acknowledged the buzz surrounding the collaboration, stating that the recipe was perfected over months and is sure to surprise. The flavor profile is described as a blend of sweet and savory, unlike any traditional ice cream or chili experience.

This marks Skyline Chili's first foray into dessert collaborations. Dick Williams, CEO of Skyline Chili, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the fusion of two beloved Midwest brands. Skyline Chili is renowned for its "secret recipe" chili and signature dish, the "3-Way," featuring spaghetti topped with chili and shredded cheddar cheese.

Starting January 27th, the limited-edition ice cream will be available at Skyline restaurants, Graeter's Scoop Shops, and select Kroger stores in Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis, and Louisville. Nationwide shipping is also available for those outside these markets. Early reviews on social media have been positive, with some describing it as surprisingly delicious.

The collaboration was initially hinted at in October when a listing appeared on Kroger's website, sparking online discussion and even a humorous reaction from then-candidate, now Vice President JD Vance. While Vance previously expressed skepticism about the concept, he has yet to comment on the official release.
