Actress Edie Falco, famous for her portrayal of Carmela Soprano, recently shared her protective instincts towards New York Knicks player Jalen Brunson. During an interview with Brunson and teammate Josh Hart on the "Roommates Show," Falco revealed her anger at Joel Embiid for elbowing Brunson during the previous NBA playoffs.
Falco confessed she was so upset by the incident she almost confronted Embiid. She expressed surprise that Brunson seemed to have moved past the altercation, asking, "You don’t hold a grudge?"
Brunson explained that he and Embiid have known each other since entering the league. While acknowledging the elbow was inappropriate, he indicated any animosity from the incident had dissipated. The Knicks ultimately triumphed over the 76ers in that playoff round before losing to the Indiana Pacers.
While Falco's "Sopranos" days are behind her, she's embarking on a new project – a "Nurse Jackie" sequel on Amazon Prime Video.
