Construction Worker's Death at Lambeau Field Confirmed by Packers CEO

Green Bay Packers CEO Mark Murphy has publicly acknowledged the passing of a construction worker at Lambeau Field last month. The worker, identified as Joshua Shaw, was employed by Mavid Construction and sustained fatal injuries on June 15 while contributing to the installation of new scoreboards at the stadium. He tragically passed away two days later.

Mr. Murphy expressed condolences to Shaw's family and colleagues in a recent statement. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has initiated an investigation into the incident, which is anticipated to take up to six months to complete.

Shaw, a second-generation employee at Mavid Construction, worked alongside his father and brother. Mavid Construction, a subcontractor for Miron Construction, released a statement expressing gratitude to the first responders and medical professionals involved, and extending their deepest sympathies to the Shaw family. Miron Construction also issued a statement echoing their condolences and acknowledging the tragedy.
