"When your 74-year-old mother asks you and your sisters to get matching tattoos with her in Vegas, the only questions are, ‘what?’ and ‘where?’" Underwood quipped. She expressed her disbelief, adding, "I never would’ve thought I’d see the day that Mama Carole would be gettin’ some ink!"

The tattoo session took place at a local Las Vegas studio with artist Darek Riley, who shared his excitement about the experience. Riley tattooed a small heart on Underwood's foot. "Experiences like this make Las Vegas one of the coolest places to live," Riley posted. "A huge thank you to the Underwood gals for coming by and spending the afternoon in my studio. I am so grateful."

Underwood's mother was all smiles as she posed with her daughters, including Carrie and her sisters Shanna and Stephanie. This recent tattoo experience follows another family bonding moment for Underwood, who got matching tattoos with her sisters-in-law just last month during a trip to Destin, Florida. That tattoo, a delicate sunflower located just below her bicep, commemorated a girls' trip filled with beach days and bonding experiences. "It’s true that you don’t get to choose your family, but if I could, I would choose these exact three women to be my sisters-in-law," she wrote, emphasizing the strong bond they share.

The Las Vegas trip coincided with Underwood's ongoing "Reflection" residency at Resorts World Theatre. She recently completed the first few shows of her residency. After a few performances with Guns N' Roses this summer, Underwood will return to Las Vegas for more residency dates.
