Canada is set to face the United States in the CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinals after defeating Cuba 4-2 on Tuesday night. Guatemala also secured their spot in the next round by overcoming Guadeloupe 3-2 in Harrison, New Jersey. They will now play Jamaica in Cincinnati on Sunday, preceding the U.S.-Canada match.

The remaining quarterfinal matchups are set: Mexico will clash with Costa Rica on Saturday, following Panama's game against invited guest Qatar in Arlington, Texas.
Canada took the lead early on with a 21st-minute penalty kick by Junior Hoilett, awarded after a handball by Eduardo Hernandez. Jonathan Osorio extended Canada's advantage in the 26th minute, capitalizing on a pass from Lucas Cavallini. Jayden Nelson added a third goal in the 47th minute, converting a rebound from Cavallini's shot. Liam Millar completed the scoring for Canada in the 61st minute with a header from Hoilett's corner kick.

Cuba, currently ranked 166th in the world, managed to score two goals through penalty kicks by Luis Paradela in first-half stoppage time and Maikel Reyes in the 89th minute.

Guatemala topped Group C with six points, followed by Canada with five. Guadeloupe finished with four points, while Cuba ended their campaign with zero. Costa Rica, ranked 42nd, secured their progression by defeating Martinique 6-4 in Harrison. Panama, ranked 57th and already guaranteed a quarterfinal spot, drew 2-2 with 76th-ranked El Salvador. Guadeloupe and Martinique are not included in FIFA rankings as they are not FIFA members.
