Other candidates include Faiz Shakir, who managed Bernie Sanders' 2020 presidential campaign, and Marianne Williamson, a two-time presidential candidate. However, the final forum also highlighted issues like systemic racism and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, topics that may have contributed to the Democrats' recent election setbacks. The forum was disrupted by protesters concerned about climate change and the influence of wealthy donors.

A recent Quinnipiac University poll reveals ongoing challenges for the Democrats, with only 31% of respondents viewing the party favorably. This marks the lowest favorability rating for the Democrats in Quinnipiac's polling history, while the Republican Party enjoys its highest favorability rating ever at 43%.
