Cardi B Blasts Trump's Super Bowl Presence, Claims It Ruined Her Experience

Musician Cardi B recently aired her grievances in a video, claiming former President Donald Trump's attendance at Super Bowl LIX negatively impacted her experience. Trump's presence at the New Orleans event marked a historical moment, as he became the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl. The city had heightened security following a terrorist attack just a month prior.

Cardi B, a vocal supporter of then-Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 election, expressed frustration with the Secret Service's stringent security measures surrounding Trump. She felt these measures inconvenienced her and other attendees.

In an expletive-laden video, Cardi B exclaimed her displeasure, stating, "Yo, I was too f---ing mad today because, you know, Donald Trump and s---. He was at the Super Bowl today, and they was giving us a hard time." She went on to blame Trump for the Secret Service's restrictions, claiming they prevented carts near the stadium, which resulted in damage to her expensive shoes.

Displaying a spike-covered shoe, she lamented, "This shoe cost me three bands. All ‘cause of Trump. Now I like him lesser!" "Three bands" is slang for $3,000.

The rapper further argued that Trump's presence at the Super Bowl was unnecessary, exclaiming, "Now I like him lesser! Because you didn’t have to go to no damn Super Bowl. F---ing up my shoe!" She then seemingly reconsidered her words before suggesting Trump should instead focus on issues like her uncle's deportation, stating, "Now he’s gonna have to, well-he definitely ain’t gon’ do that...bring my uncle, bring my uncle to come back because my uncle got deported!"
