Catherine, Princess of Wales, recently joined tennis icon Roger Federer for a unique pre-Wimbledon event on the hallowed grass courts. The Princess teamed up with the tournament's ball boys and girls for a fun training session, showcasing her own tennis skills alongside the eight-time Wimbledon singles champion.
Middleton took on the role of a ball girl, practicing feeding balls to Federer and even attempting to catch a return without letting it bounce. This prompted a playful exchange with Federer, who highlighted the difference in rules between Wimbledon and the Australian Open regarding catching returns. The Princess also took the opportunity to ask Federer for serving tips, receiving encouraging feedback from the 20-time Grand Slam winner.

The pair even engaged in a friendly mixed doubles match, with Middleton hitting a winning shot that landed right on the line, much to Federer's surprise and amusement. Beyond the rallies, they also tackled the traditional ball change challenge, rolling the tennis ball precisely down the court to each other.

Middleton praised the ball boys and girls for their discipline and dedication, highlighting the value of such experiences in building confidence and pride. She expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to witness the behind-the-scenes training and preparation that goes into ensuring the smooth running of Wimbledon.

Wimbledon is set to commence on July 3rd in London.
