Florida Governor Ron DeSantis outlined his vision for a revitalized America during an interview on "Sunday Morning Futures," emphasizing the need to address the economic challenges of "Bidenomics," rein in government overreach, and restore American strength on the global stage.

DeSantis stressed the importance of curbing the power of the administrative state, stating, "The bureaucracy in Washington is completely out of control. It's wielding power not granted to it by the Constitution. We need a president who will decisively clean house, and I will do that from day one."

DeSantis criticized the current economic climate under President Biden, arguing that "Bidenomics" leads to increased costs, a decline in living standards, and less freedom for Americans while empowering the government and fostering corruption. He also expressed concerns about the influence of corporations aligning with the current administration.

With the first GOP primary debate approaching, DeSantis addressed the challenge posed by former President Donald Trump, who currently leads in the polls. Despite Trump's significant advantage, DeSantis expressed confidence in his ability to address what he sees as the weaponization of government against conservative groups and individuals.

DeSantis highlighted instances where he believes government agencies have targeted individuals for their political beliefs, stating, "If you're aligned with the D.C. establishment, you can get away with behavior ordinary Americans can't. Our institutions have been hijacked by a specific faction that uses its power against those it opposes." He cited examples of pro-life activists facing scrutiny from federal agencies.

DeSantis underscored the importance of protecting individual liberties and preventing political weaponization, asserting, "We can't be sidetracked on this. Those in power won't willingly relinquish the authority they've amassed over decades. We must succeed this time; otherwise, it won't happen."
