A rapidly spreading brush fire near Scottsdale, Arizona, prompted mandatory evacuations for over 1,000 residents on Tuesday evening. The Diamond Fire, ignited around 5:15 p.m. near 128th Street, quickly consumed 2,500 acres, advancing south towards McDowell Mountain Regional Park. As of the latest reports, no homes have been damaged and no injuries have been reported.
